Liao [47] and van Linden et al. [48] divided the gap between the N-terminal and C-terminal lobes into a front cleft or pocket, a gate area, and a back cleft. The back pocket corresponds to the gate area and the back cleft. The front cleft includes the Gly-rich loop, the hinge, the linker connecting

Concerning asthma, in a study evaluating the effect of tiotropium in severe asthma, the sputum eosinophil count and exhaled nitric oxide were also assessed. However, evaluation of the anti-inflammatory effect of tiotropium was difficult because these markers were low at baseline and thereafter. In a

Princen, 2012, Panier, 2013 specifically address the issue of ACE using the commercial database AMADEUS. However, both studies focus only on corporate leverage and the ACE in Belgium. Due to the lack of a counterfactual, these authors consider firms in other European countries, e.g., France, as a co

Introduction The lysosomal storage disorder Gaucher disease (Mendelian Inheritance in Man, OMIM #230800) results from the recessively inherited deficiency of lysosomal glucocerebrosidase (GCase, EC 3.2.1.45), caused by mutations in the gene GBA1 (MIM# 606463) located on chromosome 1q21. The enzymat

However, for a molecular target to be useful in AD, it must rescue behavioral as well as biochemical insults. In humans, AD memory impairments typically declare themselves initially as disruption of episodic memory and consolidation of new memories, eventually progressing to global cognitive decline

ACL: A Metabolic Checkpoint for Sensing Excess Nutrients? During normal transitions between fasting and feeding, cells maintain energy homeostasis by integrating energy and nutrient status signals at key metabolic nodes, coordinating multiple processes. For example, the AMP-activated protein kina

In response to DSB, the lesion recognition factor Mre11-Rad50-Nbs1 (MRN) complex helps the recruitment of ATM to the damage site and its activation by phosphorylation [29]. However, whether UV-damage recognition factors directly influence ATR and ATM recruitment and their phosphorylation is not clea

Aromatization of the pyrrole ring after anion capturing, using acceptor atoms with electron deficiency (B & Be), and substitution of strong electron withdrawing groups such as CN were three strategies used to design a new class of anion receptors. Comparison of the anion affinities of these anion re
